Hey guys! Here for another catch up post of my first week in Fuzhou. This post is all about my first full day in Fuzhou and work day at York English. Let me just put it out there, my first day was hard. From the horrible jet lag to being thrown into the weirdest medical exam I have ever taken, I was exhausted and just wanted to sleep for 1000 years. Oh, let me not forget the huge culture shock I faced before I even left the airport after landing in China. I was a bit overwhelmed, but despite all that, I was really excited to be here. I pushed through my exhaustion & culture shock and got a good sense of what life in Fuzhou would be like for the next year. Watch my video vlog below to see how my first day at work was like!
